THIS photo of an American high school basketball player appearing to “levitate” off the court has the internet in a spin.
The incredible picture of Walker Stillman, a student at Champaign Central High School in Illinois, was taken by photographer Liz Brunson during a game last Friday.
Brunson told News Corp Australia that the photo took her by surprise.
“I usually never know what’s happening in a game until I get home and put the pictures on my computer.
“I was looking for just one shot from the game to post on Facebook to say congratulations to the team with and I picked that one because I thought it was funny.”
The shot was quickly shared on a number of social media sites making the 180cm-tall guard the latest viral star.

“How can a child have a vertical jump like that? I’m impressed!” one Facebook user wrote.
“Dang looks like he’s levitating!” another added.
Brunson has been overwhelmed with all the attention.
“There are no words to describe the reaction.
“Saturday night I started hearing from people whose kids were watching it go viral on Instagram.
“Sunday, I was watching it on some Instagrams going up into the hundreds of thousands of likes.
“I’m ready for it to be over because I have pictures from a high school musical, that basketball game and a swimming and diving meet to process and I just can’t get them done because of the calls, tweets and Facebook requests.
