Man strips, threatens to pee on mother-in-law

There was a spectacle in Nairobi’s Githirai Kimbo Estate last week when a jilted husband stripped naked at his mother-in-law’s house. He threatened to pee on her to protest being denied access to his children and estranged wife.
The man, surnamed Githinji, had had domestic squabbles with his wife, only identified as Rose, forcing her to flee to their matrimonial home in Mwiki area to her mother’s house in Githurai.
The couple’s marriage is said to be chaotic and riddled with regular fights and breakups. All this is said to be courtesy of Githinji who is reportedly an alcoholic and gets quarrelsome when drunk. According to a neighbour, Rose has always been a victim of domestic violence. In fact, this was the umpteenth time her husband had battered and forced her to seek refuge at her mother’s house.

Dozens of cats found living in car with mum and daughter

A 70-YEAR-OLD woman and her 41-year-old daughter have been arrested after they were found living in a filthy mini-van with 38 cats and newborn kittens. Fox  reports that police were called to check on the homeless family and called in animal control after they found the mini-van stinking of urine and faeces.
